Vitamins and Supplements Test Shoot

One thing about creatives is that we always need to be creating. I remember back in school having to read a book about muses. Sadly, I don’t remember what the title was or the author, but one thing stuck with me from the book and that was that inspiration doesn’t strike those who sit around waiting for it. If you want to be inspired, if you want to have the muse strike you, you must be constantly creating. That is something I have taken to heart recently and it has proven true. 

I tasked myself with creating these product photos for different vitamin and supplement brands that I found inspiring. I first searched for brands that I felt matched with my colorful and vibrant style. Next, I set out to sketching scenes. I wanted to create something that fit within their individual branding, but was still a little different and pushed myself creatively. I experimented with new lighting techniques and tried out different styles of post production. 

After planning the fun could begin. I sourced props and backgrounds and then got to work. This shoot was the such a joy to work on. I loved flexing some creative muscle and trying new things. Creativity truly does beget creativity.
